You should be fine playing cs at 144 hz right now shouldn't you? What are your current specs?

beneficial ? it's 'less' considering the benefits , depends on you i guess, Power consumption is low , frame rates are a bit higher comparatively.. if those things matter to you, you should get one.. 6300 won't bottle neck  i believe except if settings are cranked up to the very max on certiain games.other than that you're good..

M5a97 re l2.0 mono and 6300 gtx 760 8gb of ram 128gb ssd and 1 tb WD blue

You don't need a new one, but you could get a new one and give me your 760 so I have a GPU and can start playing skyrim, crysis 2 & 3, hitman absolution, etc... again....
