LED Strip help

So im basically going to buy this LED strip. The NZXT and the Bitfenix ones I just don't like. So I noticed that through the 12v DC barrel style connector that you plug to the strip adapter I can connect it to a molex and get power through the PSU instead of plugging it to the wall. So I'd basically be plugging the LED strip white adapter to this and then that to the PSU. This is where I need help, I want to know if the white power adapter is compatible with that Molex-barrel adapter I linked. If the Molex adapter isn't compatible, please link me one that is.

Looks like it should be fine, both match in size (2.1x5.5), 18 awg wire can easily take the current and even though its not listed on the adapter its a safe bet that its centre positive because centre ground would be crazy
