So I plugged up my pc and everything booted up and then it worked. But then I went to setting my Xmp profiles to 2133, and now my pc wont boot and then is a red dram led

Clear the CMOS, reboot into the BIOS, manually set the speed and voltage without XMP.

It won't void anything but your overclocking settings and any other personal settings.

To clear CMOS take out the battery. This is why it's called the CMOS battery. Though I can't be sure, I'm pretty certain that the little silver circle around the PCI slots is that CMOS battery. It should be fairly straightforward to take out. Sit for about 15 MINUTES after taking it out then put it back in.

the best way to clear the CMOS is a variation of what you said.

I find doing what you said often does not work.

Best, and fastest way, to clear your CMOS is to remove all power to your PC (unplug from the wall), remove the CMOS battery, hold down the power for 15 seconds (your fans may spin shortly and then stop. you want all LEDS on your mobo to be off) and then put the CMOS back in.

After that, plug it in, turn it on, and it should be reset to default.
