I have this weird problem with my GTX 770 EVGA w/ ACX cooler that after about 1-2 hours of gaming, it will underclock itself to 535 mHz. I checked the temperatures to see if it was thermal throttling and I was sitting at about 35-40 °C So that was not the cause. I was wondering if any of you guys had the same problem and if you managed to solved it. If you did please let me know because it is very annoying when your framerate is cut by half and the only thing that solves it is a reboot.

thanks for your help!

yes

Have you tried the following;

Go into NVIDIA Control Panel. Select, "Manage 3D settings." Scroll down to, "Power management mode." Select "Prefer maximum performance."

Then go into Windows "Control Panel." Scroll down to "Power Options" Select, "High Performance"

See if that does the trick.
