so i got this 4-5 years old laptop. And afther installing windows 8.1 on it i got this problem. (i payed for the windows version!)

so when the laptop was ready instaling my screen resolution was lower than normal, but i waited to config it. than out of no whare i hear the "pudum" nouse (same you hear when pluggin in/out a USB from the computer) and my screen went black. afther 2-3 sec it got back and my resolution got fixed! (note: this happend 20-30 min AFTHER i installed winows)

now the problem:

like  MAX. 5min afther my pc is started up my screen goes black again and i hear thad "pudum" nouse again. but this time my pc just re-boots itself.. constantly and constantly!

i can't work for 5min and it re-boots!

the thing is, when i am in BIOS setting menu, he does NOT re-boot (been in BIOS menu for about 1/2 hour now)

so this is somting to do with windows?

Go to Safe mode via Windows RE. Then Uninstall the GPU driver with Revo Uninstaller. Then Re-install it after the normal boot.
