Good Budget GPU?

Hey Guys, So I was looking on some 200$ gpus, can you guys guve me some tips? AMD or nVidia, I was looking on the r9 280, or something cheaper ou similar in performance.

If you want to wait the GTX 960 should be released within the year at around that price point ($250 probably). Otherwise the R9 280 is great. It's what I'm using.
