Windows 7 Issues

Please help! I have lived with this problem too long! Applications don't pin to my taskbar at all and I can't create new folders.

Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe).

Go to this registry "key":

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile

Right click on the right pane, and select New -> String Value (REG_SZ) to create a new registry value.

Name the new registry value as IsShortcut . No value data required.

Restart the computer.

 

if persists

Try system restore from control panel option and try pinning to task bar.

 

If it still doesn't work just redo windows...
