Why dont you just hook it up to the switch for LEDs already in the H440?

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

How accessible do you want it to be? I think the best option would be to mount it under the front panel, still fairly easy to get to since you just have to pull the front cover off, but completely hidden that way.

Just about any SPST switch will work, as long as it is rated for the amperage you will be drawing and isn't momentary. LEDs pull very little current, so I doubt that will even be an issue. Momentary switches will only light up when you press the button, as soon as you let off the LEDs would turn off, or vise versa, where always off unless you hold it down.

I'd go with a round rocker since they will be the easiest to mount, just drill the correct sized hole and push it in place. The nicer ones will have threads on the barrel so you don't have to be so precise with your drill bit size. http://www.amazon.com/10Pcs-Round-Button-Rocker-Switch/dp/B00AKVBEN6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415125249&sr=8-1&keywords=spst+rocker

You could use a normal rocker, but cutting out the rectangle hole is a bit more difficult. Best way to do so would be drilling a lot of small holes in the rectangle shape and then finishing with a file, or using a dremel and file.

I like the idea of mounting it under the front panel.  But what about a push button on/off switch such as.  http://www.amazon.com/SPST-PUSH-BUTTON-SWITCH-ON-OFF/dp/B006M3FJVE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415127150&sr=8-1&keywords=spst+push+on-push+off+switch?

That would work perfect, I was just having trouble finding one that wasn't momentary.
