IMO I would wait till next year for AMD's new SMT Architecture CPUs

No! Don't get the E versions! Why are people recommending them? FX 8350 is the only answer here...

why not? and what is e virsion? i  JUST WANT A NEW MOTHERBOARD AND CPU and i dont want to wait. I have 700$ to spend on upgrading my pc so go crazy but smart

IMO? SMT? 

IMO = In my opinion

 

SMT is a cpu architecture that in Intel CPU cores that rivals  AMD's vishera cores which use CMT or clustered multithreading but is fundamentally flawed so AMD is deciding to move to SMT in 2015. Furthermore CMT isn't even an actual cpu architecture, its a marketing term coined by AMD.

So if AMD manages to make a SMT cpu with 8 cores that rivals Haswell-E... I WANT and more power efficient.
