4 of my USB ports on my ASRock H61DE/S3, have stopped working, I've gone over the entire motherboard about 10 times and I can't find anything that seems to be blown out or shorted, nothing, they aren't loose either. Is there any good form of testing them to see why they're broken? Is it a fixable issue or do I have to send it in? I've tried contacting them twice and they apparently refuse to reply to me. It's slightly annoying because I don't have money for a motherboard right now, and my other one is also broken, using this one forces me to use a cheap, crappy mouse compared to my nicer one, and it really bothers me. I need USB for a lot more though too, so I was just wondering if there's anyway for me to figure this out on my own?

Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock H61DE/S3

CPU: Intel Core i3-2100
Ram: 8gb Kingston 1033
GPU: GTX 760.
PSU: RocketFish modular 600 watt.

Actually now that I think about it, I have linux on a spare harddrive, let me boot into that and see if the ports work in linux, if they do, then I guess it's going to be a windows fresh install, I can't figure any of it out, I've been over everything, the registry, the bus controllers, drivers. Can't fix it.

It's hardware. Guess it's time to order a new mobo or a PCI to USB expansion card...

if you dont care for aesthetics much, the card will obviously be a better decision. otherwise, can you RMA your motherboard?
