EVGA StepUP?

I currently have one 970 from EVGA and am considering stepping up to the 980 reason being I will just buy another one at christmas. Anyone have any experience with it?How long would I be without a graphics card? What Do i need to send in ?

I dont have first hand experience, but I did an RMA through EVGA and the process was super fast.  9 business days from the time I sent my card to the time I had my new one plugged into my machine.  I expect step up to be the same time frame.

 

I wouldn't do it though.  The real price to performance winner is the 970.  Buy a 2nd 970 if anything.  Or, wait until the rumored 980Ti is announced and step up to that.
