Hello guys,

im planing to mod my case, i know this is not the ight section of the forum but since the thing i want to know is about air intake and exhaust, i posted it here:

so here are the 2 options:

uhwpuu5vna7rqrw804ki.jpg

in the "this" image:

is what i am planing to do, why ?

i dont have any intake fan on the front part of my case, so im using 2 exhausts on the top, and in the back, and as intake the one on the side that i am not cutting,

in the "or" image:

if i would cut all the pannel without letting that fan on there and move it to the front of my case would it give me a good airflow ? since my front part has the hdd and ssd there on the bottom, and the fan would sit right to it would the fan do the work properly as a intake fan ?

thanks!

I hate side fans, nothing ruins a window like hole grills.

cut it all away and put a nice windows there, some white LEDs around the outside to light it up.

edit: have front as intake and top and read as exhaust, if you have an AIO turn the rear as intake to bring cool air for your rad

Is there any room to maybe sticky tape some fans in the front or screwing them on. Fans arent hard too attach even if there isnt a designated spot

This is true but if you hoover your room enough dust really isn't that much of an issue.

there is a designed spot, the only problem is if i get the fan on the front, the fan place is @ the bottom, but in right front of it there are 2 HDD wich i cant moove, if i moove my new gpu wont fit my case..the problem is if the air will flow properly

my mom cleans and vacuum the house pretty much every week to dust wont be a problem, its cleaned very frequently,

i really like the option of having the whole side window since would look much much nicer! :)

if you could get another 2 120 mm in the front that would give nice air flow :)

what drives are you using? could maybe mount them on the bottom of your case and just complete remove the drive cages,

i think my cage is not removable at all... anyways, i think i could fit atleast the one im using on the side pannel on the front of the case, over the both Hdd and ssd, LIKE:

well yes normally. that should work.

so long as you got more intake than exhaust.

example would be.

1 back exhaust, top 1 exhaist, 3 front intake (if this is not possible. a balance 2 exhaust 2 intake is fine. although in most cases depends on the room too I went with 1 exhaust and 4 intake on a old chassis I have.

I remember having this lanboy air something case that has all holes and lot's of fan mounts. and put 15 5400rpm Scyte Gt's and bam all the air goes in was fun though although the 5400rpm one is noisy as fuck :) but the building process feeling was totally awesome. (those 15 fans are all intake >.< )

Live your life like a dream.

i cant get that 3 on intake, on the front,

ant the moment i have 3 exhaust, and 1 intake, i will propable get 2 intake on the front and let the other ones as they are..

my temps are pretty ok for the weather on my country wich is arround 25º during the day...im getting 30º on iddle and 40/45º high load :)

well if you can put like a dust filter up top, it might be good to put them as intake but seeing your case can have fans at the side you can also put them there :)

but damn those temps are juicy bro.

I can visualize the acrylic window on it should look wonderful. how about something that has a tinted window? although I remember doing one before using blue and green acrylic as window.
