My shield when charging shows a clock and this is useful because my other clock does not light up. But I'm afraid that if I leave it charging all night that will kill the battery life. And if I just unplug it, it will be low in the morning and I won't have time to charge it. So I wanted to know if letting it charge all night will kill the battery life. Thanks!

WAT?

Even if it does kill the battery life, what are you going to do? And having a clock on while charging won't kill anything at all...

It won't, as modern devices with built-in batteries will charge to 100%, and if it doesn't get unplugged, it'll keep cycling down to around 90% and back up to 100% to keep the battery healthy, so it's perfectly fine to leave it overnight.

Most people charge their devices overnight, and it doesn't hurt the battery!

He meant will it kill the battery's cells if he keeps it plugged in all night.
