So i'm looking for a new GPU and would like know what options i got.

I would like either a gtx 980 or gtx 780 ti

What 980 and what 780ti card gives the most power without the need of installing water cooling?

And what would you recommend?

And by what card i mean Asus, msi etc.

look online and there are 780ti out there for sub 400 right now... be quick if you want one though.  asus, msi and evga seem to be the prefered cards with the 780tis.   i personally would get a 980 only if 780 ti is no longer availible, you have to upgrade your power supply too, or need 4gb of vram (sli or 4k)

remember it takes 2 seconds to google it yourself......

my rig (close anyway, couldnt find my qnix 1440p moniter or my msi z77 g45a matx mobo)   http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LzzqwP

What about the different 980 card, do you know anything about them?

if the 780 ti is cheaper then go for it. power consumption hardly matters. on most cases you save like 8$ us converted or below going to a 980.

well if it's me buying I'll still grab a 780 ti. I'm not really fond of low specs on bus speed in paper. although I'm eyeing out on what's higher than the 980.

Scroll down to the 980's

Zotac extreme seems to be top of that list, not sure about temps, Pretty sure I saw a vendor roundup someplace.

avalibility is a big thing right now and if you can get your paws on a 980 at a good price go for it.   as far as the 980s go it looks like gigabyte did a great job on there windforce card this time around,  and its in with evga msi and asus.   and like joshua said if your willing to drop some serious cash wait for the big die chip from nivida.  980s just dont have the bang for the buck with the 780ti bolth available and so cheap(edited: look around and try to find them for about 400 usd) right now.   780s are also very reasonable.

A 980 will win in performance with 100+ MHz higher clock speeds, better overclocking, lower power consumption and TDP, and it also has more VRAM. The 780 Ti is, for some base line models, ~$100 cheaper though. As for what brand I recommend if you ever plan on water cooling go with an EVGA, because of their reference PCBs. Otherwise the decision is up to you, Gigabyte does offer the highest clock speeds, and some of the best temperatures with their windforce cooler though.
