I bought an anti static wrist strap from amazon but do no have an anti static mat to work on. Will working on a glass table be okay?

You could always clip the alligator clip onto a metal part of your psu with it plugged in and switched off. This will allow you to be grounded.

You don't need an antistatic mat, just connect the other end of the cable to something metal that is grounded.

I put the strap round my angle and attach it to a radiator (house radiator not PC rad)

Should be if the PSU is installed, on at the wall, but off at the back. Then the power supply and case is grounded

I don't have the PSU installed and wasn't thinking about plugging it in until I finished. Is there some household place I can clip to that is naturally grounded?

I wouldn't think too much into it. Just don't rub your feet all over carpet and go work on your rig and you'll be fine.

^ this. I've worked on numerous rigs and have never used an anti static wristband. Just be mindful of your surroundings and avoid working in places where you can gather static electricity.
