Looks very promising and will indeed be a good match against the Galaxy S3/4 minis. Personally I feel that it's a great idea that they are bringing across the same quality towards the lower price brackets as a lot of people want to experience the useability of something like a HTC One but cannot necessarily afford it.

 

According the site posted above, seems like the mini will be slightly slower (with a dual-core), as expected, have the same 2gb of ram and feature a 720p screen rather than a larger 1080p one.

 

I think it's a smart move, so discuss!

Very pretty, I'm still not 100% onboard with HTC though.

 

I hope we start seeing more top tier phones come with pure android versions. something like this with a clean android install would be very compelling.

Looks like a great alternative for someone who doesnt want to spend a whole $600 for a real quality phone :).
