Blank Colored Screen Crash.

Go to solution Solved by NeatSquidYT,

I removed graphics card and then started TF2 and it worked fine (obviously low fps). I think I might have a problem with the graphics card.

Yes, it seems like it. Contact Palit to send you a replacement. If the replacement dosen't work properly, demand your money back. BUT FIRST triple check your drivers

Three weeks ago I bought my new gaming computer and it has performed superb since but more recently i have had two Blank colored screens crashes, one red and one yellow. After a few seconds the computer resets it self and starts up normally like nothing happened. I don't think it leaves a crash log but I'll try to find one.

Computer Specs (No overclocks) :

i5-4690k

Palit GTX 970

MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Motherboard

Windows 8.1

600w PSU Corsair Bronze

All drives and updates are recent.

Take a picture of that PSU, if you don't know the name, we might.

I had a look inside and found the brand. Its a 600w Corsair Bronze.

I think it might be a graphics card problem because it seems to happen when I play games

EDIT : Had another crash when starting TF2. Removed graphics card to test if its that.

Plug the display output cable into the motherboard and see if the problem persists
