If you only have those 2 options, then I'd suggest the blackwidow chroma since it has mechanical switches in it. Are there other options for you?

Is there anything you are looking for specifically? Such as multimedia function, macro keys, num pad required/not required, etc?

 

I personally am a fan of Ducky keyboards. I currently own 4 different Ducky keyboards and they each have different functions for different users. So if you happen to find a Ducky that you like, I give a big thumbs up for that

Mind if I interrupt? I've been looking for keyboard replacement for weeks now, have old buggy Razer Lycosa, and I really want to throw it out, maybe even smash it with a mallet couple of times.

I've been looking for cherry browns, with wristrest, american layout, numpad and volume wheel, but aside from a CHANCE that k70 rgb with browns will be available around december maybe, there is nothing on a market that suits all of these things. I even had to drop 3.5 headphone jack from "required", and still no dice.

Vengeance K70 is really rare too, since they don't manufacture them anymore.

From the list of things you want, the wrist rest and volume wheel are probably the more "unique" demands since very few keyboards have those.

 

My opinion on a wrist rest is....don't use the ones that came with the keyboard. I think getting a dedicated wrist rest is a lot better. Of course, if you're on a budget I can understand. The keyboards I know that come with a wrist rest are the K70, Tt esports Meka T1, SS 7G, CM Storm Trigger. Out of these keyboards only the 7G doesn't offer brown switches. You can check those out.

 

As for volume wheel.....wow. I can only think of K70 and Das keyboard 4 right now. For your demands I actually would look at the Das keyboard instead if you can't find any K70's. If wrist rest is a must I suggest getting a separate one. They're relatively cheap and honestly might feel better than the ones that come with the keyboards by default.

I'm looking at Orion Spark right now. Granted, it looks "esportsy", but sounds promising and maybe it will be american layout, unlike g710.

Corsair K70 Definitely, It is such a good keyboard for the price!
