Deep Sleep Mode win8.1

(im not talking about hybernating) Deep sleep mode;A mode that disabled my onboard reltek gigabyte network card (I've heard all onboard network cards are horrible) How do I get it working again without throwing out my components as recommended? Please help I'd love to get it working again as for now on I'm changing to pcie x1 network cards ... Is deep sleep mode only hapening to win 8-8.1 users? Won't let me install network adapter drivers and controller .-.
