Need help picking a graphics card!

Hi guys I need help with picking a gpu for my system I'm debating wether to get a r9 270x (£120/$190) or r9 280(£130/$210) my budget is about £130/$210.i would like to game in 1080p (60Hz) and mostly AAA titles any suggestions will be considered.Thanks

system:

AMD fx4200 4.2GHz

12GB ram

120gb SSD and 1TB HD

500W with 38amps on 12v rail

If you can find a 280 for under £130, then go for it. Otherwise, a 270X will be fine.

 

(The cheapest 280 in the UK starts at ~£150)

What sort FPS do you guys think I'll be getting playing titles like bf4 F1 2014 and other racing sims at 1080 and do you think I'll be able to play most of them at high/ultra?

Also I might be able to get a sapphire 280x oc (about 3-4 months old) of a friend for about £145/150 do you guys think it's worth the jump for an extra £20 and what FPS difference that will make?
