Ok so I'm looking to build my first pc in the next 6-8 months. I'm looking for a case which will support a 280mm rad (preferably in the top) and is arround the £90 price point ($140)

Watercooling with a h110 or x60

Thanks in advance :-)

gotta watchout on this, although it may have support for two 140mm fans, doesn't

actually mean a 280 rad will fit. depending on radiator, the end tanks will be the

issue to look at. depending on distance from HDD cages, opti cages and rear fan

will dictate whether the radiator fits or not.

then you have thickness with fans. most cases have the 140mm fan pattern centered

in the roof. and many cases this will foul a 30mm rad and 25mm fan set, because of

heat sinks on RAM, MOSFET heatsinks on motherboard, even RAM clips.

correct me if im wrong. But i believe on the 500R and 300R the spacing is actually off centered on purpose so that the rads will coincide with the spacing neccessary to fit the motherboard. I believe on the 800D it is a big enough gap, but it is still centered. And last i heard the 650D was a TIGHT fit... but it would still work.
