then it happened ... I'm confused about these compatibility issues. can i still put in both my SSD and HD in the case? ... an explanation would be nice

The Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 430mm long, but video cards over 295mm may block drive bays. Since the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card is 312mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

@TheSixtyJohn

I made some slight changes:  CPU Cooler, RAM, and Case.

The H100i has a bad problem with mounting, pump breaking down, loud pump, and Corsair Link bugging out.  Not guaranteed to work for you out of the box without modifications  Just avoid it.

Go for the Cooler Master Seidon 240M.  Less expensive, same specs, no problems, much more quiet. Also fits the black/blue theme.

RAM:  Get some performance stuff that is color coordinated.  A little more expensive, but it will perform better in anything productivity type work, and will look great with the black/blue theme.

Case:  Phanteks Enthoo Pro is currently the best $100 case on the market right now.  Much better build quality, more features, and better airflow.

Change the cooler if the price of similar performing coolers are better. For water cooler, look at the Cooler Master Seidon 240m, Thermaltake 2.0 Water Extreme (3.0 too), Cooler Master Glacer 240L. For air cooling, look at Noctua NH-D14/NH-D15, Phanteks PH-TC14PE (PH-TC14PE_BL is the blue one, BK is Black, OR is orange etc). Change SSD to Crucial MX100 if it's cheaper than the 840 Evo. Lots of cases are good for the job. Define R4 is indeed one of the best, but so is the Nanoxia Deep Space 1, NZXT H440 (Black and Blue to match your PC), Cooler Master N600 (this is the perfect match for the Cooler Master Seidon 240m), Corsair 230T, Corsair C70, Corsair Air 540, Corsair 750D. Plenty to choose from. :) For the mouse, I recommend the Logitech G502. For headphones, everyone who has reviewed it has recommended the Kingston HyperX Cloud (based on the Qpad QH-90, also worth looking at). That's about it.

noctua nh-d15 is sex bro take it :) gonna make your cpu orgasm like mad :)

anyways although I have those corsair CLC's they are good but I still prefer the d14/d15 of noctua and if not the kraken ones are sexy.

pretty much everything else is good but hey don't forget not to look at the 750D. then just slap it with some awesome fans and do many stuff in it.

Live your life like a dream.

Got to find a balance between price vs performance. If something I listed is 25% less than the NH-D15, he'd be nuts to buy it. They all perform relatively similarly. If however the NH-D15 is similar enough in price to the others, then it's down to taste I suppose. Not everyone likes Noctua's colouring (I do :D ). But for his Blue and Black themed build, it will probably be the Phanteks monster cooler that will win.

I like their brown one a lot but their newer industrial fans also looks slick too bad can't find them locally for now as much as possible I'd want to avoid ordering online outside Philippines for less hassle.

btw how many fans can i fit in this Corsair C70? I'm buying 6 Sp120 quiet edition . is that good? and how am i going to set the fans ?

Those SP fans....I was thinking 2 for the WC Rad, 2 for the front. That's all you need. The case comes with 3 fans already, 2 inside and 1 on the rear. The case can take 2 more in the front, 2 in the side, 2 in the bottom. But doing all that is overkill. Just put 2 SP's on the rad, put the fans that come with the H100i in the bottom and the side panel (1 each) put the final pair of SP's in the front. That seems logical. The front fans should be intakes obviously, as should the single bottom fan. The 2 fans that come with the case are also intakes, pushing air though the case but they aren't intakes as such. The rear fan is an exhaust, the side panel fan should be an exhaust, and the 2 SP's you put on the H100i should be underneath the Rad, pushing air through it out the top.

Did you check the prices of the Cases I listed, similarly coloured RAM and CPU coolers I listed? Is this list the best value you can get?

The other cases aren't compatible. I'm still thinking if i should switch the h100i. and the ram I'm still looking it up
