Don't need to spend so much on the secondary storage. You already have an SSD for speed.

Go for a cheaper mobo alot of options out there which can perform the same.

The ram 2400 its not exactly bang for buck. You could save a bit of the case also.

This is a good build but your the one who has to use it at the end of the day i spent 4k on mine when i built it and i have no regrets.

Also you don't have to build it all in one hit you could do it in stages to ease the money pain. Like go with one gpu initially and then upgrade a couple of months later to the second and get that second HDD at the same time.

A little more could be saved by going with an h100i. One could also save a bit by going with a more conventional storage arrangement.

With storage a hybrid drive might be best option in terms of speed and capacity.

Hey there,

Are you aming at 4k or 1440p gaming at high/ultra settings? Do you have specific games wit htheir FPS or settings requirements or specific programs that you are planning on running?
This is a very solid build.I believe you could save a bit on the MOBO, drop down to a dual GTX 970 and drop the PSU to a 750W gold-certified.
Concerning the storage, unless you are planning on working with large files, load huge amounts of data or need very fast loading that you cannot afford to use the SSD for, I would say the WD VelociRaptor is something you can also change and save a bit on. This drive is designed for workstations that operate with large amount of data. You already have a SSD for your games, OS and programs. Unless you need fast access to all your data (on both your SSD and HDD), I would say, drop the WD VelociRaptor to a WD Blue or WD Black. WD Blue is designed to everyday computing and should work for you just fine. It is 1TB max in size, though. WD Black is up to 4TB and is designed for gaming and heavier work loads as it performs faster and has longer warranty. Either drives would work great for your needs. Here are a couple of links:

You always have the option to add additional drives (SSD or HDD) if you need more speed or capacity or simply form a RAID of SSDs or HDDs. :)

Hope this helps,

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
