Work Laptop OS Backup

Can anyone point me in the right direction here...

 

My work laptop has about 1000 restrictions on it that allow me to basically browse the internet and use Office. I plan to just use my own copy of Windows and do a fresh install. What are my options to create a USB backup of the current OS so I can restore back to it if I need to switch back for whatever reason. I have an external USB Dock that I could gain access to the drive from another computer if that helps any. I can not download / install any software as it blocks it.

 

Also.. I know I could just buy another hard drive but even if I do I would like to have the option to restore a fresh image.
