GTX 770 SLI Help!

I recently bought a second GTX 770 for my gaming rig for 1440p gaming, but I can't seam to get the new graphics card and the old one to work together. The computer recognizes both but every benchmark I have only recognizes that I have one installed, I don't know what to do please help!!!

 

Before anyone askes yes I did put the SLI connecter on

Heaven Benchmark, Futuremark, and furmark all said that I had only one GPU installed

I have looked, there is nothing about SLI in the Nvidea control panel

If you don't see this, either your PCI lanes are not actually talking to the GPU, or you don't have an SLI bridge installed.

Remove the secondary card and replace it in the primary card's slot and see if the PC detects it. It's likely your motherboard's PCI lanes are faulty.

It recognizes it, it just dosen't have the option for SLI

The only things I can think of is you're running an AMD board that doesn't support SLI, the PCI lanes on your motherboard are dead, or you have a faulty SLI bridge.

it might be possible that i have a faulty SLI bridge but not likely, my MB is the asus x79 deluxe
