LG phoenix (p-505) stock rom (froyo 2.2) flashing help

Okay, a while back I tried to update my phone using the LG update tool, which fucked my phone. when i called LG, they told my to do a factory reset, and it made it significantly worse. Now as soon as i turn it on, it tries to go to the "Welcome" setup screen but com.android.settings crashes and it just goes in circles. I have the stock rom (not rooted) for the device but I'm not sure exactly how to flash it on. I should probably also mention that even with proper drivers on my pc, the phone cant connect to my computer.
