Posted October 15, 2014 Hi. I have a problem that has been occuring for quite some time. To not write too much here is my video of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAV3YAKuTM4&list=UU6nA3hxyBDHWo_8ONS81csQ The GC has been OC before this happened but as soon this problem occured I have gone back to defaults. The only thing changed is my HDD which is now Seagate 500GB. It's not related to DVI cable because as soon I unplug the primary monitor this "jumps" to secondary. Thank you for any help. Posted October 15, 2014 It looks like a broken panel, but it could be other things. Have yout tried the monitor with a different PC? or a different plug on the monitor itself? Posted October 15, 2014 Author It looks like a broken panel, but it could be other things. Have yout tried the monitor with a different PC? or a different plug on the monitor itself? (VGA, HDMI or Displayport) It could not be display problem because when I unplug my monitor the second monitor (TV) becomes first display and it happens to it. As is said it "jumps" as soon as unplug first display. Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/233527-display-problem/#findComment-3191323 Share on other sites
 I did to factory OC by Asus which is 1100Mhz and 6400Mhz. Worked perfect for year on these speeds. Posted October 15, 2014 Author Ok I don't know if it can be caused by this. In my CCC I found that I had DVI alternate operational mode on. It says it should be used if I'm expericing display corruption but until the problem I didn't whilist it was on. Could that be it? Looks like a driver issue because it's not doing it to the other display. Posted October 16, 2014 Just because an overclock is stable for a year does not mean it will be stable forever. Looks like a driver issue because it's not doing it to the other display. Ok I have set it defaults of original R9 280X which is 1000Mhz and 6000Mhz. Then I guess I need to completly re-install drivers. It's weird because it all started with HDD I had to have installed. Now I'm waiting for money to come through to buy SSD. Maybe new Windows+drivers on SSD will fix the issue, but that will be in another 2 weeks :C Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/233527-display-problem/#findComment-3196086 Share on other sites
