When I downloaded the Withcher Adventure game the Galaxy client that came with it did not work. At all. I couldn't even launch it. It didn't seem to get auto updates either. I don't understand what GoG is doing with this. I'll wait for the release version. But hey, go get the free game anyway.

I've never heard of the Galaxy Client till this. It's disappointing to find out that it did not work :(  

 

You could get a version of the client if you pre-ordered Witcher 3. One of the bonuses for pre-ordering was getting into the online beta of the game Witcher Adventure. The beta comes with an early version of the Galaxy client but it is nowhere near finished. Even if it did work, it would have only work as an alternate launcher to that specific game. The game works without the client as well.

 

But like I said it is all a beta. Witcher Adventure was updated ever since I last tried so maybe the client works now or maybe it doesn't. I don't want to bother.

 

When the client eventually comes out it will be sweet for organizing my GoG library but not until then.
