Ok, im new to custom pc's, and just to high end pc's in general. Im soon to get a job and hope to start to get a custom one. Im looking at the GTX 970/980 and i look up prices and there is the same graphics card from 3 or 4 different companies with 100-200$ dollar differences between them all. Some have fans on them some don't but the ones that do seem to cost less. http://tinyurl.com/q4e4pe3 is the page im looking at for the 970, and any help for which one to pick, and maybe just other parts to go with it to make a good PC under 2000$ budget. Thanks to everyone that might take their time to help me loser ass!

ALSO: Going for possibly a red or green color pc.

Well, all of the cards will have fans on them (:

To be honest, you might as well go with the cheapest 970 you can find. There's no reference model, and none of the coolers are bad, so you can't really go wrong. If I were to suggest one in particular, I would go with EVGA for their support and warranty.

I'd personally go with either:

MSI TwinFrozr GTX 970 Gaming 4G

Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Asus GTX 970 Strix
