FIREWIRE header?!?!?

I got a new case (corsair 500r) and i can't seem to find a place the firewire1394 header! The only matching ones i can find is USB2.0 but i read somewhere that they are wired differently and shouldnt be plugged in there. The Motherboard is an MSI h77mag43. 

Most motherboards don't have firewire headers anymore. Like your it does not have a header.

Do you even need the firewire on the front panel? If you dont why bother plugging it in

 OK Thanks guys. I just wanted it plugged in because it is always in the back of my head and it bothers me knowing it's not plugged in. I guess i'll just suck it up.

You can always buy a Firewire card that has an internal header.
