Triple trouble - The watercooling part

Hey guys,

Put the plain-hardware question for my new system in the "New builds and Planning" part of the forum. Maybe I'll get some more advice on the water cooling part of my build plans in this part of the forum.

Short recap of the abovementioned thread: will be building 3 systems in total, one server and two World of Warcraft multiboxing systems (One for me, one for the wife).

System 1 (Server):

Asus Maximus VII Impact
Intel Core i7-4790K
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR3-2400
Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB
Corsair AX760i

System 2 (Mine):
Asus ROG Rampage V Extreme
Intel i7 5960X
Corsair Dominator Platinum 4 x 8 Gb DDR4-2666 CL15 - or - G.SKill RipJaws 4 x 8 Gb Kit DDR4-2666 CL15
Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB
2 or 3 EVGA GTX 980
Corsair AX1200i

System 1 & 2 will bunk together in a HAF Stacker (915-935-915).

System 3 (Wife):
Asus X99 Deluxe
Intel 5820K or 5930K

Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB

Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR4-2800 White

1 or 2 EVGA GTX 980

Corsair AX 760i

Corsair Carbide Air 540 Silver Edition

Plan is to custom water cool both system. Never water cooled before, so wait and see.

For my wife's system I was planning to put an Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 360 & an Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 240. The HAF Stacker, with the two systems in it, has room for 2 360s (60mm) and 2 240s (60 or 80mm) radiators. If there is sufficient room I'll do push-pull on the 240 radiators. I'll be getting EK Waterblocks all round (probably the hydro copper 980s), rigid tubing, Aquacomputer Aquastream XT pumps (will one suffice for the Stacker?) and an Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 to control it all.

Will the radspace suffice to cool both system so they're quiet and overclockable? I choose the Aquacomputer Aquastream XT pump because I red they're very quiet and I can control them with the Aquaero 6, will one suffice in my system. Was thinking of getting Corsair SP fans for both systems, the purple lighted ones for my wife's rig, for my system I'd like to get some lighting I can turn of, preferably controlled by the Aquaero 6.

Would also like some pointer to the rigged tubing part of the systems, like I said never custom water cooled before so it will be a challenge. What is the most common used tube diameter (mm please), best tubing brand, fitting-wise should I just go for the once that look best in my system or is there more I need to keep in mind, specific brand?

Any other advice would be appreciated.

i'd use an EK D5 pump to be sure. and i'd also go dual loop.

I used primochill fittings and tubing all the times i've done acryllic tubing. i'd just put as much radiator as you can. but Pushpull is stupid. just use high quality radiator fans(Silverstone air penetrators, Noctua, Be Quiet!)

What is the advantage of having dual loops? I always thought spreading to heat over as many radiators as possible (within boundaries) would be the best way to go.

Not sure about fans yet, was thinking of going with corsair SP, like the look of those with the colored ring, my wife wants the lighted purple ones in her system. Can't stand the colors of the Noctua fan, unfamiliar with the silverstone fans. BeQuiet! is a good brand, have a Dark power cpu cooler in my current rig, just don't know how they compare to the rest.
