Frequent crashes

Speedbird

Hi

Ever since I got an SSD and reinstalled Windows, I've been experiencing problems. Sometimes, programs stop responding and won't close, even when closed via Task Manager (which can also crash). These crashes can sometimes bring down the whole system. Not by a BSOD, but just by making it unusable and I have to press the Reset switch. This is a pretty fresh install, with only a few programs. OS is Windows 8.1 64-bit.

What ssd did you use?

Do you know what it's wear level is at? You might check your background processes and maybe even reinstall Windows even though it's a pretty fresh install.

It's a new Crucial MX100. How do I check the wear level?
