Right, so my Ethernet port will light up when you plug a cable into it, but it won't recognize the connection. the drivers are installed, but it doesn't show up as a network adapter in control panel.

Any ideas? I don't want to have to send it back because I need this computer every day.

I'm using the integrated adapter on an ASRock Z97 Pro4. (Also, the port worked absolutely fine up until a few weeks ago. I've been using WiFi since, but the connection is really unreliable.)

Did you accidentally disable it in the bios?

I wish it was that simple. Just to be sure, I checked, but it couldnt've been that anyway as I did a clear CMOS the other day.
