Afternoon!

I'm veryyyyy new here but I have a question,

Im new to the whole custom built PC's after using a Mac the last 4-5 years,

I bought a new custom build with a GTX760 and I have a 37inch HDTV,

I'm wondering if I can use the TV as a monitor,

I haven't received my PC yet that's why i cant test,

I'm just curious!

Thanks in advance!

Rory.

Will be be the right res? my iMac has trouble using the TV as a external display, underscanning, not sharp etc...

it will be right res, but to be honest with you dont do it! even a cheap 1080p monitor is usually more appropriate for using a pc than a tv screen. Sometimes the edges of the screen are being cut of by the tv because of weired scaling and the response times suck.

If you use it anyways though try to find a setting in the tv that is called something like game mode. It switches off colour correction which is needed for tv signals and reduces response times which is good! but yeah really save yourself some money and buy a pc panel...
