Budget Build (500$)

Bic

Hey guys! This is my first post on the LinusTechTips forums. I'm an avid computer geek and love everything to do with computers. I've put together a build for around 500 dollars for a friend of mine, do you think this is the best for the money? (I already have some parts from a previous build and I'm charging 90 for the motherboard, opt drive, and RAM, which I already have)

Corsair Carbide Series 200R              $65

Sapphire HD7770 GHz edit. 1GB GDDR5      $120

CM eXtreme Power Plus 500W                 $55

Intel i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core              $120

WD Blue 500GB                              $55

CD Drive                                         $20

Biostar B75MU3+                      $40

Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 4GB 1600 30$

                                                              ~  $515

A cx430 would work. The 500w is a bit much.

More wattage for the same price.  The CXM430 is also the same price, but it's not worth it.

Ahh. I often find the cx430 on sale.
