I've been thinking of setting up a racing rig with a spare pc, anyone out there race seriously in Iracing? Is it worth it?

Do you already have a racing wheel? If you don't then that is the first step. Next would be to buy or make a cockpit. You could probably buy one used on craigslist, or just buy new. I would rather build one because you can build it around you, put everything where itll be comforable for you.

I planning on getting g27 with a few mods and build the rimotech rig with triple 24", I figure that's the cheapest way to do it right. I wish I could try a sim rig before investing

Sometime within the next week or two, I'm gonna build my cockpit. Hopefully I'll have my G25/7 by then. I'll probably post it in here if this thread is still active.

For sure would be nice to see it. I'm going to wait a bit, just planning stuff out. I'm not ready financial yet.

Just in case anybody is wondering the logitech G27 is really good :)

Have had it since christmas and haven't regretted buying it when playing GT5 and even test drive on PS3 to Grid 2 and iRacing on pc. Make sure you have a comfortable seating position on your desk if you don't have a sim setup and you will be able to start having fun! :) i think the logitech wheels also come with a free month of RFactor or something like that...
