Hi guys,

First off, would like to apologise if this is in the wrong section of the forum, or if I'm just being an idiot... But that is partly because I don't know if I'm searching for the right thing.

Basically I want to get a two port gigabit NIC and put it in a system running a version of Debian. But all of the drivers on the website are for other versions of linux, those being redhat and SUSE. I was wondering if I could use these drivers as long as they are for the same kernel version.

Probably irrelevant; the OS is ProxMox VE 3.3
