I've planned to build this system for my Grandma to replace her dying laptop:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MxYgCJ

I've already got 2x2GB of 1333Mhz RAM laying around so I tought I'd use it. The case I've chosen is: http://www.cooltek.de/en/powered-by-jonsbo/u-series/88/u1

Any thoughts on the choice of parts and/or possible improvemets. The parts will be bought in Finland so the pcpartpicker prices don't apply here. Everything together costs about 700€ ( the case is 55€).

I'd appreciate feedback on the post itself. :P Is there a way to get the part links like in this post easily without having to copy/paste the links invidually?: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/228971-budget-gaming-pc-1000/

- Have a look at the Corsair VS350. Costs around €30 in the Netherlands so I reckon Finland shouldn't be much different

- Is she going to be using just the SSD?

- Get a Crucial MX100, one of the cheapest drives around and also very reliable.

-The case only fits SFX PSU's, forgot to mention that

- The old laptop has a 160 GB HDD and it has about a third of the space used :D  Photos etc. will be backuped on a external 500GB drive. I might even install the old laptop drive into the system as a second backup

-The HyperX drive costs 75 € at the moment which is 5€ more than the MX100.

Yeah, checked the price and it would be about 640€ with a slightly higher end mobo than the one you picked. The PSU would be a xfx 450w because of the GS350 not being available at the store im shopping at. That case would give the option to add a GPU later on but I doubt it would be ever utilized past 20%. :P

Got to admit that the case you picked is pretty damn compact  :

Well, the i3 has got Intel HD4400 graphics which is... probably already more than she'll need, despite being crappy to people like us :P

Didn't even realize it was /that/ small but it should serve her very well :)

(PS; the PSU was a VS 350, not GS)
