yes the Asus AR is a good board, but so is the MSI gaming 5 and for the price difference it would be a much better pick IMHO.

nahh really your best options are the Asus AR or the Gaming 5...the gaming has some interesting features namely better audio.

Asus strenght would be more in the software department...but MSI also offer a rock solid and easy UEFI and overclocking/gaming oriented features. (OC genie, gaming device ports, killer nic etc.)

The gigabyte board is a pain in the butt in regards to the UEFI and fan control, i won't recommend them until they fix their shit.

depends if you can afford to just sit there and wait...but honestly if you have the chance to have microcenter near by i highly doubt you'll find better deals they are very aggressive...i stop by boston micro center every time i travel to the states and i get something new everytime i go down there.

Let me tell you from the point of view of a Canadian neighbors the prices you are looking at are purely stunning.

It's ridiculous i mean i paid 25$ more for my 4770K ALONE than the i7-4790K and Gaming 5 combo they offer...i'd jump on it anyday.

OK the my micro center is 30 min away and I don't have a car but maybe my dad will drive me

Get the i5-4690k + Asus Z97-AR, should come to just over $300 after taxes.
