Messages to the Mods: I looked, didn't find a sub-forum better than this that i thought suited the topic. 

 

Hi guys, 

 

I'm currently looking into buying a 3D printer. Although i don't know a whole lot about them. I mean i've used one before. Given it was an extremely high-end one. My school has $40000 3D printer, which i used a little bit two semester ago. I'm looking into spending less than $2500. Including a couple roles of filament. I'm thinking i'm going to go with an Ultimaker. As Barnacules who uses 3D printers a bunch highly recommends their brand. Although i'm looking for more people's input. I also wouldn't mind buying a kit and making it myself. Now some things i need from this printer, are specifically that it be MAC Compatible. I do not want any brand that is not MAC compatible. So if anyone has any knowledge they could share on this, i would highly appreciate it.
