Edit: No idea what happened to the thread title but it should of been PC randomly locks up

 

So I've been having this issue for a while now, thought it was fixed. I ram memtest Prime95 etc all results come back as passed. Just now I was listening to music and my pc locks up makes a weird sound in the headphones and shows a pixelated screen. This has to be hardware related are there any more programs that I can try to detect failing hardware?

Can you post full PC specs and GPU Driver version? Also temps if possible...

Try updating the drivers to Catalyst 14.4... Fully uninstall the 14.20 drivers first...

Is there a known issue with the driver I have locking peoples pc up?

 

None that I know of... I do know that there are some issues in the 14.9 drivers, that's why I suggested going for 14.4...

You can't get the 14.4 drivers at AMD's website now so you'll have to go third party...

 

MD5 Hash for the 14.4 64bit for win7/8/8.1 is 2fe848697bf1f8f0a8764584286e5bde

 

Maybe I'm blind tonight but the only option Its giving is 14.9 drivers to install
