Hello, guys i was wondering if i should order the h60, ive heard  reviews saying noisy fans, leaking, not working well. Ive also looked into the 212 evo and that looks good to. I wont be doing much overcloking, i have the i7 4790k, and i will be recording and rednring and editing like every weekend. So what should i get???

on amazon the NH-D14 costs the same as U12s.

not even the d14 that is a behemoth of a cpu cooler will interfere

The Hyper 212 EVO is probably one of the best, if not the best budget air cooler on the market.  I had one, and I loved it.  Performs incredibly well for only $30.

 

If you want to go water cooling, go at least 240mm.  Anything smaller is like a job half done, and you will get similar if not better performance from an air cooler that is less expensive.

 

If you live in the US, look into the Cooler Master Seidon 240M on Newegg for only $70.

 

The Hyper 212 EVO is something you can't go wrong with either.

 

The Be Quiet! Dark Rock 2 often goes on sale for $30 and that is an even better cooler than the 212 EVO by a discernible amount, but it is not on sale right now.

Don't waste money on a big cooler like Corsair or Noctua if you're not doing much overclocking. Get the 212 EVO.

what case?  Also, if you're not in a hurry, wait for the Dark Rock 2 to be on sale again.

i have a mid tower case, and the ram i linked before, will it fit because of clearnce issues

Yes it will, it has clearance for 163mm of CPU Cooler, the 212 EVO is 159mm

The scythe katana 4 is very nice,

It keeps my i5 4460 under 50 C with 800 mhz overclock
