I have had similar problems with the g700. I had to restart and pull everything out and use different usb ports and pull the batteries out(maybe works with just turning it off) and then it worked for me. But, this is actually a different mouse... But that is what I did with my g700. Also then with my g700 it didn't even work when I plugged it into the cable it completely stopped...

 

It did that a couple of times but it has stopped now.

Make sure to take out the battery for a little while.  Other than that maybe check the logitech forums to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. A firmware update might be what's needed.

it may not be pair with the receiver. Try downloading their tool to do so.
