Since I didn't get what I asked for the first time I posted this thread, I'll ask once more: What is the cheapest SSD I can install Linux on. I thought of a 60gb SSD. No theorys about that I should get 120gb or that I should go with an usb drive, just a product that I can buy.

Cheapest doesn't nessesarily mean the best, you should go for a good grade ssd , samsungs pretty good , For disc space 60 gigs is pretty good imo, but if you're planning to install a shitload of games or applications , then you might consider 120gigs,

This is exaclty what I didn't want. I ask for a good 60gig SSD. Not a 120gig SSD.

Well, if you want the 60 gigs, Maybe you should try the OCZ's Agility/vertex 3 or a kingstons v300 series ssd (OCZ agility is a bit better imo), Be warned 60 gigs on paper real life space maybe near 50 or 52 gigs max, Hope this helps..

60gb is a crappy drive no matter who makes it. Slow, small and obsolete.

 

Do yourself a favour and buy min 120gb. And don't bitch about good advice.

It's just that I think that 120gigs are too much for a 2gb OS. Everything else I am going to put on the HDD.
