Custom Desk Case! My first post!

Hello guys!

Just a brief introduction of myself. My name is Giannis, i'm 22 years old, and i live in Cyprus. A place where nothing can be delivered without paying its price just for shipping. I have always been fascinated with computers, gaming, and in general anything i could do with a computer, since i was a small kid. (who wasnt?) A couple of years ago, i decided to save up some money to go all our and buy a full custom gaming rig, where i could set everything up as i wanted. Unfortunately, the case i wanted, (Corsair 900D) was too expensive to buy it from Cyprus, and i couldnt find a place to get it shipped here without spending over 400 Euro on it. So i decided to say, i'll build my own case/desk that could fit everything and anything i want to. With the help of my father, who has worked with wood for over 30 years, we started making drawings on paper, until we found something we both liked. Decided to use wood instead of metal, because its more rare i think, and it seems more unique in its own way.

This is a work in progress, and soon i will be changing my GPU and monitor setup. Trying to collect the money for at least one ASUS Strix Gsync monitor, if all goes well i will be able to get 3 of them by next summer. For the GPUs, i'm waiting for the 980s to become available, and i'm thinking of ordering later on to see if Nvidia decides to release a 980Ti edition or something. I will be adding waterblocks on the GPUs, unless i can afford some EVGA Hydro Copper ones.

Cant say its easy, and it remains a work in progress all time takes up the entire room, but i like it ! thanks though
