I am running Xubuntu, and my amin audio configuration is jack/alsa, which works for everything except steam. I try to use pulseaudio with jack for steam, and I get these error messages:

W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-source.c: JACK error >Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory<
W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-source.c: JACK error >Cannot connect to server request channel<
W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-source.c: JACK error >Cannot use real-time scheduling (RR/80)(1: Operation not permitted)<
W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-source.c: JACK error >JackClient::AcquireSelfRealTime error<
E: [pulseaudio] module-jack-source.c: Not enough physical output ports, leaving unconnected.
W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-sink.c: JACK error >Cannot use real-time scheduling (RR/80)(1: Operation not permitted)<
W: [pulseaudio] module-jack-sink.c: JACK error >JackClient::AcquireSelfRealTime error<
E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Module "module-jack-sink" should be loaded once at most. Refusing to load.
E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Module "module-jack-source" should be loaded once at most. Refusing to load.
E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Module "module-jackdbus-detect" should be loaded once at most. Refusing to load.
E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Module load failed.

Pulseaudio produces no sound. Alsa works fine, but steam refuses to recognise it for many games.
