1080p 120hz vs 1440 60hz?

Hey guys.

As the title says, what should I go for?

 

I'm either going for a 1080p 120hz benq or a 1440p screen (I don't know which one yet)

This is purely for gaming, and I'm playing arma 3, dayz, lol and all those stuff

My specs are;

 

4690k

970

8gb ram

 

What would you recommand for gaming?

A 1080p 120hz monitor or a 1440p? 

As I've seen, 1080p 120hz are fairly cheaper than 1440p, but quality in 1440p are better than 1080p (duh)

which 1440 would you recommand? I only find quite expensive ones (I live in Denmark)
