I've been looking to upgrade my computer because I've been working on a very cheap laptop and need a little more power, I look to game a lot and maybe have some video editing done with this, This is the only thing I could put together that would fit in the 650 dollar range before rebates I needed a monitor so that's why that is included in this, please let me know what you think and if anything can be changed. I plan on getting windows from g2a.

the $500 price range is the awkward zone with no real "ideal"  builds exist. you might as well wait until you have a bit more saved up to be honest.

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300

CM STORM QUICKFIRE TK | BENQ XL2420TE | ROCCAT SAVU | FRACTAL DEFINE R4
