I had my pair of TB xp400 I used for my xbox 360 for a while. After a lot of research I got them to hook up wirelessly to my pc through a bluetooth adapter and optical sound. I have been using them like this for a few months not sure if I like it. Should I keep them or go find a better option? Also they are 7.1 (I think can't remember) but I am not 100% positive that I am getting a 7.1 feed.

Yes because they are not to the level of audiophile headphones it automatically makes them crappy.

That actually is true. But if you want a headset there's always the hyperX. No need to recommend something crappy.

Mmmm no it's not but good job reinforcing the stereotype the audiophiles are snobs.

I admit the way I worded it might sound snobby but it's worth it so that the OP doesn't waste money because you're thickheaded.

The Razer Kraken and Corsair Vengeance headsets are both great especially for listening to more distorted music and definitely great for playing games. I've used turtle beach's "premium" lineup in the $200 range and they sound like things you can buy for $15. I've used Krakens for a year and they sound many magnitudes better.

Doesn't mean they're good. Being better than turtle beaches say nothing at all. Gaming audio and music audio are the same exact thing. No sense in getting a worse product for your money.
