Hi , I had a Kingston 8GB stick 1333Mhz and it did beeping sounds after a while . I replaced it with a 2X8GB G.skill Ripjaws and it was alright for 3 weeks and right now I got the same exact sound . That will piss me off if I bought RAM for nothing . The beep code is "3 shorts beeps" on a American Megatrends Bios , I hear the sound in my headset not from the motherboard like I seen on some videos , I do not have any speakers just a headset . Is it because my motherboard RAM Slots are fu**ed up ?

Thanks

-The sound only happened 1 time on this kit of RAM a couple minutes ago

I don't know how to change my Username :(

Well it could be coincidence, but yeah it's either a RAM issue or a RAM slot issue. Only way to tell is to try all the sticks in another board, and if everything is fine you know it's the mobo. If it beeps in the new board you know it's the RAM and you're just unlucky.

:S I do not have any other motherboards to test it on
